Led by Emmanuel Hussenot, the French jazz ensemble Orphéon Célesta has been expanding the vocabulary of the genre for nearly 30 years. On Cuisine au Jazz, the group offers their offbeat takes on standards of many genres, blending poetry, New Orleans-style brass, kazoo and washboard in seventeen tracks of impeccable arrangements.
